PRGF (Plasma Rich in Growth Factors)
Advanced Skin Rejuvenation using Plasma (PRGF)
Thanks to advances in regenerative medicine it is now possible to use the human body’s resources to heal oneself. It is the most advanced autologous Platelet-Rich Plasma system. It is based on the activation of the patient’s own platelets for the stimulation and acceleration of tissue healing and regeneration.
Using PRGF technique it is possible to isolate, concentrate and extract growth factors, a set of proteins present in our blood that are responsible for repair tissue naturally. Plasma rich in growth factors enables our proteins to rejuvenate our skin, resulting in a healthier appearance.
What are Growth Factors?
They are proteins that we all have and which carry out an essential function in complex processes of tissue repair and regeneration.
They are naturally found in the plasma of each individual and inside platelets. The therapeutic application of growth factors stimulates and accelerates the processes of tissue healing and regeneration.
PRGF activates tissue regeneration and ensures a high level of hydration, wrinkle reduction and skin luminosity.
PRGF® activates the regeneration of tissues and can counteract the degenerative changes that take place in the skin after the third decade of life, improving its tone and plasticity.
The effect of PRGF microinjections begin to be evident after 24 hours from the first application, with increased smoothness and brightness of the skin with each new session. It is recommended to receive 3 treatments in the first 3 months.
What is PRGF in dentistry?
Application of Endoret® (prgf®) in Odontology Endoret® (prgf®). Is the most advanced system there is for obtaining platelet-rich autologous plasma, and can be applied directly on the dental implant and with it, the primary stability of the implant surgery.

How does PRGF work?
The use of plasma rich growth factors can speed up healing and recovery time especially for complex dental procedures.
PRGF requires sample blood extraction. The blood is then stored into a centrifuge which will isolate the patients’ plasma. The plasma is then placed into another centrifuge, where it is enriched with the patient’s own growth factor hormones.
During the surgery, your doctor will place the PRGF on the site of the wound to speed recovery. PRGF technology in dentistry helps to repair gum tissue around the bone by using the body’s own resources.
During any type of recovery or healing, the patient becomes at risk for infection or complication. PRGF speeds up healing to reduce this risk and minimize pain.
Is it optional?
It is definitely optional.
