Genuine Dermal Roller Therapy

The Genuine Dermaroller™ Therapy™

 dr

Significantly improving the appearance of facial and décolleté lines and wrinkles, sun damaged and ageing skin, acne scars and stretch marks has never been easier thanks to the innovative and award-winning non-surgical skin regeneration procedure Genuine Dermaroller™ Therapy™.

Genuine Dermaroller™ Therapy™ provides advanced micro-medical skin-needling, a procedure that stimulates the skin to regenerate and repair itself naturally and safely, creating smoother, brighter, healthier, younger-looking skin.

The Procedure

Your practitioner will use a Genuine Dermaroller™ medical device to produce thousands of micro-medical needle-columns in the skin. Each column will penetrate into the dermis of the skin and will be approximately 0.1mm in width. The column will close rapidly enabling the skin to recover quickly – often in the same day. Your practitioner will use a topical anaesthetic to numb the skin making the procedure comfortable; it will normally take up to 30 minutes for the topical anaesthetic to work and 20 – 30 minutes for the Genuine Dermaroller™ Therapy procedure.

After a Genuine Dermaroller™ Therapy™ procedure your body will start to naturally regenerate and repair the skin, working below the surface in the dermis. This takes time as new collagen is formed, new skin cells are generated and blood supply is enhanced. It can take up to 6 weeks before visible signs of regeneration and repair are seen and the process will continue over the following months, providing you with a natural and long lasting enhancement.

Your practitioner will normally recommend that your Genuine Dermaroller™ Therapy™ consists of a series of three Genuine Dermaroller™ procedures with approximately 6 weeks between them.

In the treatment of acne scars and other types of scarring it may be necessary for your practitioner to extend your Genuine Dermaroller™ Therapy™, carrying out up to five procedures.

Post – Procedure Skin Care
Immediately after your Genuine Dermaroller™ Therapy™ you will look as though you have moderate sunburn and your skin may feel warm and tighter than usual. This will start to subside after 1 to 2 hours and will normally recover within the same day with only slight redness the following day.

Your practitioner may well apply CONTROL TACTICS CREAM after the procedure to help soothe and calm the skin, continue to use until the redness has cleared.

The GENUINE DERMAROLLER RECOVERY MASK can also be applied by the patient at home to intensively hydrate the skin and aid in its recovery. It contains Hyaluronic acid and Ceramide for hydration, Matrixyl for regeneration and Vitamin E for antioxidant activity. The RECOVERY MASK should be left on the skin for a minimum of 5 minutes.

Alternatively, apply a GENUINE DERMAROLLER AMPOULE to the skin after cleansing with the Control Tactics to hydrate, protect and enhance the skin. The AMPOULE contains Hyaluronic acid to intensively hydrate the skin, Retinyl palmitate to regenerate and Vitamin E to provide antioxidant protection, as well as additional Allantion to actively sooth the skin.

Dermaroller can significantly improve the appearance of:

Facial and décolletage lines and wrinkles
Aged and sun damages skin
Acne scars
Rejuvenation of hands

The Dermaroller treatment consists of a series of 3 procedures with approximately 6 weeks between them.

Why a dentist is the person to perform facial rejuvenation treatments

This is a very important factor when deciding where to undergo facial aesthetic treatment and there are a number of reasons why a dentist should be the professional that performs facial rejuvenation treatments.

A dentist already knows the facial anatomy, they give multiple injections every day so are more gentle when performing the treatment. Dentists also already understand the physiology, skeletal structures, vascular and nervous system of the face, and overall facial aesthetics to give you your desired look.

Only dentists know and are concerned about the proper ratios of lips to teeth, the smile considerations when the patients go into a partial or a full smile, proper phonetics, and how the teeth relate to the soft tissue surrounding the mouth.

All facial aesthetic treatments are preformed in a clinical environment by a dental professional
